Anna & Hovsep: Champagne Pebble Embossed Wedding Invitations

I had the pleasure of making the wedding invitations for my good friends Anna and Hovsep. Anna wanted an invitation that was more on the traditional side and that looked very elegant. She loved the square shaped pocket fold so we started with that as the foundation. I found this gorgeous champagne pebble embossed paper that brought a unique texture to the invitation. I also added ivory satin ribbon and champagne Swarovski crystals as embellishments which added an elegance to the design. Congratulations Anna and Hovsep, I wish you both lots of joy and happiness for a lifetime to come!

Event Design: Elegant Silver + Yellow Wedding

Classy. Elegant. Simplistic. Those are the three words that described the vision for Lori & Armen’s wedding. Lori contacted me 5 months prior to the big day looking for some guidance on the overall design of her wedding. She knew she wanted something really elegant and beautiful that incorporated silver and touches of yellow, but needed help bringing it all together and executing it on the day of. KZV Armenian School is where Lori and Armen first met and spent many of their childhood years together, so it seemed like a perfect spot for the wedding. KZV is like a blank slate, you basically have 4 walls and the freedom to do anything you want with it. White Night Designs draped the entire ceiling and walls to give the effect of a white tent inside of the hall. I found a chandelier online that I fell in love with that reminded me of Lori’s dress, so White Night Designs custom made one just like it for the wedding. It turned out gorgeous and acted as a focal point above the dance floor.

We covered the dining tables with a silver crinkled linen and placed clear glass beaded chargers with a satin silver napkin on top. The white chivari chairs added a nice contrast against the silver linen. We worked with the amazing team at Asiel Design for the florals. Lori loved the traditional aspect of the large ball of flowers, so we worked with Asiel design to bring in a touch of modern by using curvy glass vases and having a spread of three different centerpieces.

Incorporating some fun elements for the guests was also something that was important. We tented the outside to create a lounge filled with leather furniture and a bar. At midnight we suprised the young guests by bringing out Hookahs that were provided by Hookah Beats. Since Kripsy Kreme is one of Lori’s guilty pleasures, I custom made snack bags with mini Krispy Kreme donuts for the guests to grab as they were leaving the wedding. Some other custom designs include the guestbook board, place card mirror, and card box.

All in all it was a FABULOUS wedding. Lori and Armen are such a gorgeous couple inside and out and I was so fortunate to be a part of their big day. You could tell they were having a blast and enjoyed every minute of it. At the end of the night, Lori and Armen both screamed “best party eveeeerrrrrrr!”, which brought a huge smile to my face. I want every bride and groom to feel as though their wedding was the best and most fun party they have ever been to. Lori and Armen, you were both so much fun and easy to work with. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, love, joy, and fun!

Natalia's Pink Polka Dot Christening Invitations

My good friends Aline and Dan asked me to design their daughter Natalia's christening invitations. Since this was going to be a grand affair, Aline wanted something that looked more formal with a little bit of bling. I found these beautiful pink swarovski crosses that became the inspiration for the rest of the design. I loved how they turned out and so did Aline. She said "you definitely can't find anything like this online!". That is precisely why I started custom designing invitations, I could never find an invitation that I fell in love with or matched the theme I was going for. I like the invitation design to act as a sneak peak of what's to come at the event. Aline and Dan, Natalia is absolutely precious. May god always bless your beautiful family.

The Design: The invitation was attached to the inside of a pink polkadot linen textured gate fold. The gate fold was wrapped with a soft pink silk ribbon. The inside had three layers, first a pink metallic card stock, then a matte grey card stock, and lastly the invitation on top. I added a pink swarovski crystal cross to the top of the invitation so that it was visible from the outside of the gatefold. Since there were many guests invited, I also designed a response postcard to make collecting the RSVP's easier. The invitation was inserted into a pink metallic envelope and a matching address label was wrapped around the side.
