Nicole's 1st Birthday Photo Shoot

Christine and Alex (my soon to be neighbors) asked me to take photos of princess Nicole as she is getting ready to turn 1! I had met Christine and Alex when Nicole had just been born. I can't believe it has already been a year, it is crazy how fast time flies. I remember Alex texting me on the day of the shoot saying "My wife is nuts!". I laughed just as Christine texted me from her phone "Embrace my craziness". They showed up with bags and bags of outfits, tutus, props, and all sorts of girly goodies. I certainly embraced Christine's craziness and couldn't wait to get started. We moved quickly to try and incorporate all the fun elements. Nicole was so cooperative and always had a huge smile on her face. Thank you Alex and Christine for letting me capture some special moments of your little diva.

Wedding Sneak Peek - Merci "a la parisienne"

For those of you who don't know what etsy is stop what you're doing and check it out! It's a buyers and sellers heaven for all things homemade. I was searching through the site a while back trying to find fabric flowers for my wedding cake when I came across a little shop by Mandy called "a la parisienne". As I looked through the products the shop had for sale I fell in love and thought that she would be the perfect person to design the fabric flowers I was looking for. I immediately contacted Mandy to see what she could create for me. When the fabric flowers arrived they were gorgeous! I couldn't stop there so I gave Mandy an idea of what I was looking for with the ring pillow and again she executed it beautifully.

After she posted the flower and ring pillow on her blog I learned that we were both inspired by a Dior black and nude fashion collection for our design concepts. It was such a coincidence and perfect match. Mandy, if we lived in the same state I would have to become your best friend : ) Thank you for your beautiful creations, you were such a pleasure to work with. Check out her blog

Karina's Tea Party Photo Shoot

My friend Lia wanted me to take some photos of her daughter Karina to use for her 3rd birthday party invitation. Lia is very much into design like me, so it was a lot of fun collaborating with her on the props and ideas. The birthday is going to be a Tea Party so we wanted to center the photo shoot around that theme. Karina was definitely a character, always running around and wanting to do the opposite of what we asked of her which is typical at her age haha. I think her personality really came through in the photos. Happy Birthday Karina!!!
